 Solaro (Milano) – 21 maggio 2012Grande prova di squadra della Faren Honda Cicli Kuota nella corsa in
linea di Gatineau (Quebec, Canada). Al team di Walter Ricci Petitoni è
mancata solo la vittoria, che a Rochelle Gilmore è sfuggita di mano
nello sprint finale vinto dalla tedesca Ina Teutenberg.
La Gilmore ha finito per classificarsi al secondo posto subito dietro la
fortissima tedesca e davanti a un lotto di qualificatissime avversarie.
Un risultato che certifica il buon momento della australiana della
Faren Honda, che già aveva conquistato la seconda posizione in
Cina. ”La squadra si è mossa benissimo – ha detto Ricci Petitoni-:
Fabiana Luperini ha cercato più volte l’attacco e anche la Gilmore
è uscita dal gruppo provando la fuga con alcune rivali.
Se puntiamo a far bene all’Exergy Tour? Naturalmente ci proveremo,
le ragazze stanno bene e sono pronte a tutto. Anche Nicole Cooke

schiera Nicole Cooke, Rochelle Gilmore, Myfanwy Galloway, Fabiana
