Sabato pomeriggio a Gardaland, domenica sgambata con il team al completo in bicicletta. Il dream team Italiano rientra a casa, pronto per la nuova stagione.  BONFERRARO DI SORGA (VR) – Una gita fuori programma per divertirsi e fare gruppo, dopo tanti giorni di allenamento in sella, in palestra e piscina. La Mcipollini – Giambenini – Gauss ha concluso domenica il primo ritiro ufficiale della stagione con una gita fuori programma: sabato pomeriggio le ragazze guidate da Luisiana Pegoraro, insieme anche ad Alessia Piccolo e la stessa Pegoraro, si sono divertite a Gardaland tra giostre, zucchero filato e mascotte vinta ai canestri (nella foto il team). L'ape maia, nuova arrivata del team che sarà sempre nell'ammiraglia del dream team donne Italiano, dove militano diverse Campionesse, affermate e in erba, pronte per un 2012 impegnativo. Intanto, aspettando le corse, si sono rilassate dopo una settimana di allenamenti tra bicicletta, palestra presso MB Sport e piscina, sauna e bagno turco presso Gardacqua, le due strutture Veronesi partner del team Mcipollini – Giambenini – Gauss che dopo la stimolante avventura di Gardaland pomeriggio, hanno assaporato una pedalata di gruppo la domenica mattina: “Sono felice di aver lavorato con tutte le ragazze unite – ha spiegato Luisiana Pegoraro – e ora le mandiamo in “vacanza” per Natale serene. Siamo pronte a lavorare a fondo a Gennaio per partire subito forte in primavera, e grazie a Giambenini (second main sponsor che ha messo a disposizione la struttura Agriturismo La Cà, n.d.r.) abbiamo già pianificato un secondo ritiro, a Febbraio”. Della stessa opinione Luigi Castelli, il Team Manager che ha unito le forze con il Presidente Alessia Piccolo per dar vita a questo importante team, che spiega: "Come Gauss è la prima volta che iniziamo così presto i raduni stagionali, normalmente iniziavamo a gennaio, ma ho visto Luisiana molto soddisfatta e le ragazze anche. Direi che il primo passo della stagione è stato fatto, ed è stato fatto bene". Alessia Piccolo, che oltre all'impegno nel team è General Manager della Giordana, completa il feedback sul primo training camp con una riflessione molto interessante: “Le ragazze hanno lavorato con dedizione e professionalità, motivate a raggiungere importanti obiettivi in un anno particolare, visto che in calendario ci saranno anche le olimpiadi (…) Per Giordana poi, si presenta l'occasione di usare alcune di loro per i cataloghi. Oltre che brave cicliste sono anche belle ragazze e, prese le giuste misure, potrebbero diventare le protagoniste del nostro prossimo catalogo per le soluzioni femminili”. Immagine e divertimento, professionalità e chilometri: su questi costrutti la Mcipollini – Giambenini – Gauss si è salutata, augurandosi buone feste, pronte per salire di nuovo in bicicletta tutte insieme a gennaio, in vista della prima corsa, il Ladies Tour of Qatar, dall'1 al 3 di Febbraio. After the exciting adventure of Saturday afternoon, they girls enjoyed a group ride on Sunday morning: "I am delighted to have worked with all the girls together - said Pegoraro Luisiana - and now we send them in "holiday" for Christmas.
